"What kinds of career opportunities are there in Instructional Technology?
You will find yourself prepared to work in several kinds of organizations, all dealing with instruction, training, or human performance. You may find yourself working for large corporations dealing with designing, developing, delivering, or evaluating training programs. Or you may find yourself working in a small organization doing most of the above. Or yet again, you may find yourself working in your own company producing training for clients.
People who have graduated in this program are working for a variety of organizations from business to education to military. Often our graduates find themselves in positions of leadership within a company and the field. Those of you who will obtain doctors degrees will find the higher education field to be expanding with opportunity. In 2002 we placed 3 graduates in universities across the nation. Beginning salaries range from $40,000 to 70,000 for masters degrees."
