He did research with B.F. Skinner. He did not believe any theory is completely right or wrong. However, through selecting theories, he has his own leisurely theorems. He insisted we should evaluate worthy performance instead of individual behaviors. Behaviors and performance are not necessary relevant or connected.
Most of time, good behaviors do not always draw forth good performance. His main approach is to find an exampler who outperforms others. From the achievement gap between an exampler and others, we can know the potential for improving performance (PIP). |
