Dr. Elliot Soloway spent nine months classroom study to compare the use of Pocket PiCoMap and a desktop PC-based concept mapping tool, PiViT. He focuses his study on using technology to enhance learning. He reported "that 87% of teachers used a handheld-based simulation in the first year in which they were introduced to it whereas it took the authors four years to get 50% of teachers to use a web-based digital arts library." |
